2nd club

Empoli - very, very good with me, when i was setting up my side hustle. Sorted me tickets, and the atmosphere was great and the beer wasn't bad either šŸ˜‚.

I remember stopping for a look at Empoli stadium (on my way to Vinci from Montelupo). The openness of it meant you could almost see the pitch and with the seats being blue it was a draw to look anyway.

Great little town, quaint, the locals so friendly.

Reminds me a bit of Ormskirk. Think 5,000 is the average and I've never seen them win.

ā‚¬2 beers was a treat and getting a tan even better!

Hertha BSC. Used to live over in Germany in the late 90s with a girl originally from Berlin, so used to make the trek across country on quite a few weekends to the Olympiastadion. Kept a close eye on them ever since. They have never really come close to winning anything, although one year they were top in about March with ex-RS, Andriy Voronin having the season of his life, before fading to finish 4th.

Now residing in midtable in the 2.Bundesliga with Jonjoe Kenny "flying" down the wing.

Real Bedford as it's a local side to me now, owner made his millions with Bitcoin and he wants league football in 10 years! currently tier 7. got a top of the table clash tonight against Berkhamsted, It's only a tenner to get in and tbh some of the football is tip top.
I also have a bit of a soft spot for MK Dons as my lad was an academy player there.

York City.

Missus is a Yorkie and before she moved here, I used to love going to Bootham Crescent, watching Big Jon Parkin battering everyone up front and then meet up with her for beers in the wonderful city centre.

It`s not the same since they moved to the bland out of town, all singing new stadium.
BIG John Parkin! Went to watch PNE with my ex-wife one bitterly, freezing mist of a night -v- Doncaster. North End were struggling breaking down the Rovers defence so I said to her 'we' (yes, they would be my second team) need to get Parkin on despite having never actually seen much of him. Lo and behold he gets subbed on wearing a shirt that looked like it would barely fit a ten year old, mid-riff showing and half way up his back. But he did the business and scored. Was never an elegant player by any means but scared the death out of defenders and could slot the ball in the net.
