30 million kitty next season, who do you buy...gif or photo

Konoplyanka will not come here after finishing in the bottom half of the league. He will have much better offers. This season will put a lot of big names off and we don't have the spending power to compete. I can see maybe a couple of older experienced players like McGeady or and a couple of young prospects.

At best we get a few more Wigan rejects.
That is the reason I want rid of this Manager. Even he should have finished shopping there. Not one player left in that squad who can be thinking they can go to a Club any higher than themselves. Never mind a PL one. Their League position proves me right.

A factor a lot of people may be ignoring. If we win the Europa League, and it's a big if, then the prospect of Champions League will be a draw.

However, in my humble opinion I am less inclined to believe that we'll win the competition as many hope or suggest. Then we have no Europe.

Combine that with a bottom half finish then it will be difficult to attract the bigger names which we may desire.

I'd bring this guy back and play him behind Lukaku:

I think CB isn't in that bad shape. If we re-sign Alcaraz for a season and bring in Browning for the first team, then we don't need to spend money on it.

We definitely need to have 3/4 adjustments though at least:

1. Robles being our #1 keeper
2. Konoplyanka. He looks really good, and is available for free this summer from memory. He'd be another addition of true quality and even in the worst case we'd easily sell him for 8-10m+ at least.
3. A real creative midfielder to play behind Lukaku. Barkley, with all the potential he has, doesn't yet create enough chances. This is a tough one as creative players aren't guaranteed to settle well so I'm not sure who'd we go for.
4. A striker to take the pressure off Lukaku. Whether it's McAleny or Long (personally think Long has got a much better chance), we need another striker and Kone is admittedly half useful so him, Lukaku + 1 should be enough.

#1 and #2 should take no more than £5m max of the budget with Kono's signing on fee.

#3 you could say up to £20m

#4 along with new contracts for a couple of players should take up the remaining 5m

Like your points but I'd like a better CB in reserve than both Alcaraz & Browning. I don't mind Alcaraz being offered another year to make the numbers up, but we need another decent CB to challenge Jags and keep him on his toes as for me, Stones as become our first choice CB now.

I don't think Browning is ready at all and I've only seen glimpses of Galloway in the U-21's, and although he looks decent, he's not been given a chance with the first team yet so it doesn't look like he's deemed ready yet.

know it's just random paper talk but those Lyon players were linked with would be good. Don't know much about the CB though.

Firmino. He's absolutely class and would do very well. The Bundesliga is similar to the Premier League too so settling shouldnt be an issue. No idea what Hoffenheim would want but yeah, I'd spunk a lot of it on him.

Then the rest on Gerard, bring him back home (away from home)!

He is exactly what we need. A No.10 with creativity but who gets plenty of goals aswell. We seriously lack a player who can make things happen in final third and as that quality to open things up, see a better pass for the team and make a goal.

Come the summer I'd imagine his value would be something in the region of £15-20m?!! Say we did have a £30m kitty, I'd maybe sacrifice selling Mirallas (even though I like him and would rather keep) for around £10-14m, sign Rafael Silva for £8-10m to replace Mirallas, £16-18m on Firmino and £10m on Deulofeu and use what's left over to manoeuvre some cheap deals or loans.

He's not bad mate, can play LB aswell. Looks a bit slight right now but will bulk up over years. Thing is, Lyon are doing well and up there with a shout of qualifying for the CL so would they give that up next season to come to us? I'm not sure! Maybe if we won Europa and qualified for CL ourselves?!

I don't know mate, are reputation across Europe after our showings this season in Europa have got to of grown and made players take notice, so may get enticed to the club by the way we've gone about that comp and try and play our football, and knowing they will improve us, they could be convinced to sign and get us to where we want to be, in Europe on a regular basis, possible CL?!

Forgetting who we're going to buy for a minute, what about how do we get the best out of who we've got. Such as Barkley for one and Mirallas for another.

People on here don't seem too bothered about Kev leaving, but I am. He's on a long contract, so let's sort it and him out.

As for Ross, there's a great number 10 in there, somewhere. Isn't there anyone on the coaching staff who can get him going again?

Let's get her on the staff. If anyone can get him going again I bet it's her

That's true. I'm banking on Browning making the cut in a way
