I personally don’t think gray and Gordon at the same time works, they both want to run with the ball and cut inside and they lose the ball a lot! To get the best out of DCL they need to just whip it in. Need someone out wide that likes to drift in, someone behind DCL that likes to be in the box too (Dele)
Oh, and 4-4-1-1 won't work well if there isn't the players to actually make the system work.
Pretty sure there's a forum rule about not playing the ref.
There's at least 4 of us guilty of it in this thread (inc. this post).
Standards are slipping. Need a new moderator I think, help the poor overworked souls who do a fine job policing this forum.
Maybe we need a poll thread to decide who should be the 'peoples mod'?
Oh, on topic, I'd like to see us go full Ossie Ardiles style crazy and play 4-1-5. Like he did at Spurs and wondered why they were fun but leaky.
