4 points off 4th

The league table's irrelevant for us at the moment, there's absolutely no strategy we can employ other than try to win every game.

Spurs away

Arsenal away

Liverpool away

Chelski away

The above says we are doomed anyway.

Stoke & Spurs with no Fella, Jags, Howard or Peanuts

:(

But Chelsea will win West Ham tomorrow so were six points off 4th with Arsenal at 5th so our without being negative our season is all but technically over.

I think it's just a bit beyond us now. Some of our poor losses from earlier in the season are going to come back and bite us in the ass. Just too many tough fixtures.

If this thread was on RAWK we'd be laughing at them.

That said, it depends on how we play the big sides away. I'd say we need to treat each one as a cup final but under Moyes that wouldn't be the best bit of advice!!!

The longer we can keep the players thinking there's nothing to play for the better. The minute expectation is placed back on them, I'll back them to fall apart every single time.

Still hopeful of 5th but that's the best case scenario in my eyes now.

Thats that then

Actually, I'd be more concerned if we had a raft of easy home games instead.

The Everton squad and management respond far better if they're told repeatedly that they're turd rather than when their told they're expected to win.

Truth be told I thought our season was just about over before kick off today. But, following the game, and having seen Kenwright's tears of joy, all I can say now is ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

Watch this space guys.

The one downside of today - that charlatan taking up space on my TV screen.

Sorry but pointing out math (we're 4 points off 4th at the moment), and pointing out that we have games with 3 of the 5 teams above us in the table providing an opportunity to move up isn't exactly Kopite behavior Tubey. Sorry you feel that way.

Tell you what, I'll start a 500th thread bashing Kenwright or ****ging off our players, our manager, our fans, etc.

Is f***ing right. Saying 4th is a possibility and being positive is hardly the same as Rodgers saying they'll finish 2nd or Liverpool fans saying 4th is the aim when they're 9 points off the pace.

Win the four home games and that's 12 points, then draw a couple of the aways.

We don't even need to win the away matches to be in with a shout.

Disagree, the head to head battles with the teams around us are the six pointers and will decide if we make 4th or 5th. If we lose the 4 big ones that's it in my opinion.
