So many great words from Shakespeare - I think he was the first to use the word 'Turn' in Julius Ceasar but alack and alas his words were folorn.
I would like to offer Bill some advice from Will though - you won't get a pound of flesh - so exit stage left pursued by a bear pit.

Generally love a bit of Shakespeare. It's definitely not something to be read but seen. They're plays after all, not novels. I remember an impromptu visit to see Midsummer Night's Dream at the Globe a few days after our wedding a few years ago. Magic stuff.

Verily, 'tis a most mirthful and momentous anniversary this annum, marking 400 years since the publication of the 'first folio' of the collected plays of William Shakespeare.

Now I love me some Shakespoke. I'm not a scholar or owt, but love seeing his plays performed, adapted and reimagined. I had an English teacher with a genuine passion for him and a capability to articulate the weight, humour and continued importance of Shakespeare.
He took a gang of us down to Stratford to see Henry IV at the RSC and I was hooked. I've got tickets for Cymbeline in May and As You Like It in June. Gonna try and get to the Globe for the first time as well.

What say ye then noble friends? Fans? Any favourite performances? Any thespians past or still?

Shakespeare - boss I reckon.
I like dressing like a hunchback and going:

'Now is the winter of our discontent
Made glorious summer by this sun of York!'
