Never been able to get into it.

Read and seen a production of The Tempest, read MacBeth, Romeo & Juliet and The Taming of the Shrew.

I really just don’t like it. I think Viz is well better.
It has been stated he was a phoney - not his work a conspiracy - whoever it was it was pure rubbish - hated it at school - give me Scouse diction anyday....

Remember bobby more done job on his just before passed away...my best mate Kenny is caretaker there ... you might know who I mean ;)
I remember the caretaker.

Me mum was a teacher there from ‘85 - ‘15 also.

I’ll be honest Joey, I don’t subscribe to that theory.

Y'know I've actively swerved Shakespeare in all formats since my school days. Was taught by a hopelessly uninspiring teacher and it was just a slog to get through and prepare for exams.

I'm probably being harsh on the teacher. They had a tough class and I suspect were not as enthused by Shakespeare as others.

I probably should see a play at the RSC. It is only down the road.

Its a beautiful day in Stratford and I'm just out from seeing Cymbeline.

Absolutely storming production, loved it. Funny, romantic, epic and sometimes psychedelic. A very fitting last hurrah for Greg Doran.

If you haven't seen it, Al Pacino as Shylock is something else!

In the courtroom scene, I kept expecting him to go full Pacino: 'Out order?!? I'll show you out of order! Who the hell do you think you're talking too?!?!'

So, in the back end of the 16th century, this hick from middle England racks up in London and suddenly starts writing these plays ranging from English kings to European scenarios? Laughable. And then eventually goes back to Stratford-upon-Avon and doesn't write another word! Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford was the pen-man...

‘Cry havoc! And let slip the dogs of war!’ Is the most famous quote from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.

Alternatively, it can also be used to announce yourself just before you’re about to enter the loo, when you know you’re about to have a strenuous bowel movement of monolithic proportions.

You know the type that completely destroys the toilet bowl… And they have to quarantine the bathroom for days before the devastation can clear and it can be used again.

At least that how I use it… 🧐
