6 + 2 Point Deductions

Laughable, if we get a further punishment we should start bringing the entire competition into dispute by kicking the ball into our own net, forfeiting games, delaying kick offs, everything. No way am I accepting that we should lie down and accept that. I still expect us to get the points deduction reversed on appeal.
Be as stubborn as you want, we matter very little in their eyes and the bus is waiting to run us over. I hate it but it’s the way it is! Football as we knew it has gone and the money has passed us by!

Well let’s hope the actual people fighting our corner in the appeal don’t have such a pathetic weak mentality. “It is what it is”. Not in my world it’s not.

The mentality of some our fans makes me sick to my stomach. Defeatist little cowards aren’t we. Would bend over and accept anything thrown at us to save actually bothering to fight our own corner. “Everton that”. Grow up you little scrotes.
Imagine being a member of some of their families.

What? You drove 5 miles over the speed limit? Look, I love you but rules are rules and we'll visit you in prison.

City? What about them. They drove at 120 mph (allegedly) 115 times but they've failed to co-operate and anyway that's different.

Masters writes a snotty letter to Andy Burnham so we must read between the lines that the independent commission that Richard Masters isn’t on, is giving us a further 10 point deduction and nothing back. Don’t know why, just coz.

I don't think we would argue specifically about the rule, more about the procedural issues highlighted by Burnham, the DCMS and other articles such as the detailed one shared recently.

"You signed a contract" isn't a bulletproof defence. No contract sits above the rule of law.

I think @edge probably has it right, that it’s the proceedings and due process prejudices you’d have to target and prove mate.

Overall I think our consent to signing up to the rule and even admittance that we broke the rule, would be a hard macro sell. We did know a points deduction was a consequence when we signed up to it. albeit - the handbook is woolly and not specific I.e. formula and thresholds.

I think after the appeal its possible to go to arbitration. Before going the national judicial route, you’d have to go through that - if you didn’t a judge would want to know why not.

Just to save face they've decided that we no longer have players capable of playing football but are great pot washers and make them work for thr top 6 in such roles. Failing that they have to go fight front line in the war against nasa bringing aliens to earth to keep their silence joking of course they put them all in alcatraz for poohs and gigs

What law of the land do you think has been broken?? I just can’t see it myself
It was in an article by church Crown Chambers I think it was called tried to get the link with the full breakdown .
Tried to look before but it will not let me see the full thing now.
Basically it outlines the reasons why the Premier league are on a sticky wicket.
Someone better at getting links than me might be able to put it up.
