6 + 2 Point Deductions

How could he be found not guilty or the charges dropped when he was never charged with any offence in the first place.

We stopped paying him the moment we dismissed him in August a month after he was arrested. We didn't release him from his contract we dismissed him. We could have recouped a transfer fee by suing him.
I’m sure he was. I remember seeing an article saying ex premier league footballer has charges dropped? No? Am I wrong?

Either way, we couldn’t sell him.

Anthony for Manchester United

Innocent until proven guilty, not in Sig’s case. If he was told by the Premier League he cannot play, and was subsequently found either not guilty or charges dropped then surely Everton do have a case to say ‘he couldn’t play even though he hadn’t been convicted of any crime, this therefore left us in a vulnerable position in which we either kept on paying him/offered a new contract, as he couldn’t play we couldn’t offer him to other Premier League clubs, the only position it left us in was to release the player from his contract. This ultimately left us with no transfer fee from the player.’
No only no transfer fee but a huge wage to have to pay every week for a player the league has essentially say he is not playing....then we are the ones that are dishonest..this from the league is not only dishonest, its on the verge of manipulating the outcome by deciding arbitrarily it seems who is suspended and why. It would be great when this is all over to have the exact fact explained and the rule that the league can use to suspend a player like that.

Probably be covered already, but how far can we take any appeal? If lose the first appeal can we take it to the Court of Arbitration for Sport?

Half a dozen Couple of thoughts on this.
1) We'll appel this and it'll drag on for ages.
2) I'm pretty sure that even if we do get hit with a deduction it'll be reduced from this.
3) This has happened during the best possible season in years. There's no way we'd have been able to cope last year or the one before. This season we'll stay up -10 or not.
4) We aren't even bottom with a -10 so lol. F you PL.
5) If we've broken rules and deseve -10 then when do Man City start their campaign in the national league?
6) Where is the media that was begging for clemency "for the fans sake" like they did when the scab six threatened the very fabric of the domestic game during the super league fiasco?
Fixed that for you.

We have to play Chelsea twice.
Manchester City twice.
Manchester United twice.
Tottenham Hotspur twice.
Newcastle twice.
Liverpool away
Arsenal away
Brighton away
Villa at home

14 of the 26 games left are against those teams. It’s going to be really, really tough.
So next season no trip to Mordor and one last hurrah at Goodison plus another-one at BMD? Sound.

This team have thrown away most of the 36 points on offer so far. Only the last 5 games have they made a fist of it.

To listen to some you'd think we had a team that is a steely-determined points winning machine. They are the same bottlers as the last few seasons.

This 10 point deduction has us dancing on the trapdoor for the remaining 26 games.
That's the half time's team talk by Dyche to get us fired up against united sorted.

The Police arrest a suspect and then it is up to the Crown Prosecution Service to decide whether charges should be brought. It never got to that stage.

The statement was interesting though.

“The 33-year-old man who was arrested in connection with an investigation opened in June 2021 will face no further action,” Manchester police said in a statement on Friday. “The investigation team and Crown Prosecution Service have been working together and reached the decision that the evidence available at this time does not reach the threshold set out on the Code for Crown Prosecutors.”
