Seem to remember the reason offered for why there's was so high was because they had to cancel a pre-season tour which makes sense.Times also stated that Utd’s “allowable” covid losses of £40m was by far the highest of PL teams

Is that not different years? We claimed a massive amount for the main COVID year, whereas it sounds like they're inflating theirs for the follow on year, where we've claimed a much more modest sum.Times also stated that Utd’s “allowable” covid losses of £40m was by far the highest of PL teams

Obviously nonsense that their mitigating circumstances are accepted while we're told we should have accurately predicted European war and factored that in.
You realise we could do the same with Goodison ? You need assets to start with. Not consistent at all. How were we told no to mitigation involving a war breaking out yet you have Chelsea selling hotels to a sister company and United's mitigation getting waived through no problem.
I have no doubt the board were taking the piss and didn't think we would be punished but the PL 100% wanted to make an example out of us.
I'm no expert but surely costs associated with selling shares is a standard cost of doing business? This has really annoyed me, United lobbing out any old excuse to get under the PSR number and everything they say get accepted, allowing costs associated with selling shares at 35 million is just plain bull [Poor language removed]... as a poster said earlier they use these mental reasons and we were told we should have anticipated the Ukraine war...
Revealed: How Man United escaped punishment for PSR breach
Top-flight clubs are allowed to lose up to 105m over a three-year period under Profit and Sustainability Rules. But United's figures took them well above that mark with a total in excess of £250m.www.dailymail.co.uk
you'd imagine so.. we got laughed at and widley criticised for the Currupt posters at the game Sky didn't even show the protest. Then the PL go and prove themselves corrupt by allowing one of their favourites claim ridiculous mitigation, our argument of lost sponsorship due to war was far stronger than asking for normal business expenses to be excluded.I'm no expert but surely costs associated with selling shares is a standard cost of doing business?
How on earth can that be excluded. No different to the cost of interest on borrowing being a cost for example.
What do you mean? Surely we as a football club should also be geopolitical experts and as a bear minimum have several sources placed in Putin’s inner circles to predict him starting a war. Only fair.you'd imagine so.. we got laughed at and widley criticised for the Currupt posters at the game Sky didn't even show the protest. We'll appeal, get it down to 6 points and thank the panel.I can see them being found guilty tbh, the punishment will probably be a ten point deduction to Everton.
