It was always aimed at hurting us. They really had it in for us. Appetite has gone when we haven't breached as they aren't that bothered about hurting other clubs. Anyway as long as we haven’t been charged we concentrate on trying to help Moyes now in this window to give him a real chance.
Window, door, kitchen sink. Buy the lot.Does this mean we can buy this window?
Tin foil hats all over the shop in here. Why would they have it in for us?
And the long history continues of Everton being the first team punished for a ridiculous rule that quickly disappears.Sky will be gutted after all the buildup
At least we didn’t get any further charges
It's just another case of Oumar Niasse's retrospective diving ban. Try it out on Everton but don't let it effect the money clubs.
The timing of this makes me nervous. The Premier League desperate to show they can be trusted to regulate.
If I understand correctly, come Man City/Chelsea, it'll be a different government backed regulator who will likely take a 'don't punish the fans' approach - massive fines then, back into grassroots.
I'm sure some will come along and look to correct me, but it feels very Oumar Niasse "successful deception of a match official" to me.
It would be typical for nice guys/whipping boys Everton to be the first mugs to be made an example of to take the punishment, before the punishment framework/regulator changes.
If there's a point deduction, the club should take it screaming and shouting and drag the Premier League through the mud as much as possible with finger pointing and whataboutery.
I have no idea. Not many other clubs been deducted points twice in one season though is there. Why would they have it in for us?
