6 + 2 Point Deductions

Good news that there will be no farcical points deductions like last year

Although it does show that the league tried to make an example out of Everton and that there has been no consistency whatsoever with how this has been handled.

So on one hand I'm happy because I strongly oppose points deductions for non top 6 clubs spending money to compete.

However as an Everton supporter I am conflicted because I know that we were clearly unfairly treated by the league.
Many suspected it was a 'politically' based stitch up - nothing we've heard up to now has changed that suspicion
Chances are it will fade away - except if they feel they can engineer a slam dunk on us

Man City will get away with it too, prompting resignations from Premier League and a revamp of rules.

We were always the convenient scapegoat. Called it before, during and still calling it now.

A desperate, corrupt effort to fend off regulation. Big enough club for people to take notice, ownership/board chaotic enough to provide a feeble response/defence. A board at the time in self preservation mode, throwing their own fans under a bus.

Let's not forget, Everton thanked the Premier League in a their statement that reduced the deduction.
Said it numerous times if Kenwright had been alive and still on the board there wasn't a cat chance in hell we've have got such a heavy deduction from PL

The opportunists at PL knew we where low hanging fruit and jumped on us as soon as Kenwright had passed away.

Their timing was impeccable.

Borderline criminal what went on.

It's just another case of Oumar Niasse's retrospective diving ban. Try it out on Everton but don't let it effect the money clubs.

It sounds like a fanbase on a conspiracy rant...but it's not. It's absolutely true.

I don't even know if that law still exists.

As for the PSR punishment...we were the scapegoats. The dog that got sent into orbit.
