This is all above board. The level and amount wasn't until the rules changed about owners debt being exempt from calculations...so now they're upping everything to make the balance sheet look good.

Which is the issue with PSR. There's no solid foundations or rules. You pay a good accountant, you'll get round it.

What a surprise. What this tells me is that at least 2 (Chelsea and Man Utd) of the Premier league darlings would have had to have been investigated more thoroughly which would have shone light on the premier league and it’s favourable rulings towards them, who made them in particular and why to make sure they wouldn’t incur penalties, so we can’t have that. Let’s just say the rules are working perfectly because all the clubs have complied.
The biggest losers in this are sky sports and other rolling 24hr news outlets who can no longer dress this up as deadline day, they will have to ask morons like Paul Merson what his cretinous thoughts are.

This is why I can’t be mad at the entire thing, it can be managed appropriately with someone with smart financial acumen such as Chelsea, now now UTD and Forest.

PSR was meant to be a measuring stick, it’s difficult to use a measuring stick when another manufacturer can make a bigger stick.

We have/had absolutely useless financial people at Everton and got bummed for it, we got hit cos we were not smart. It does my head in - but that’s the facts, we didn’t even bother to fight dirty.
