6 + 2 Point Deductions

Remarkable how Leicester have got away with it twice.
I don’t see how they could have swung their results around enough whilst in the Championship. Then again, if we are clear now, we should be clear going forward given we have grown ups in the building, so don’t care about any of it any more. Leicester, Chelsea, City. Past caring now. Back to the footy finally.

I wonder if because the PL are still pursuing them for 22/23 when they were in the PL (but the commission ruled they technically weren’t) they haven’t pursued them for last season because that would undermine their own argument? The expectation from just about everyone was that they were over.

I’m not sure if they lose the ruling over 22/23 they can then say “ah that must mean we have jurisdiction for 23/24” and then go after them but it could in theory.

I think that we will now see the disputed interest payments from last year quietly slip away too. We were an easy mark last season, it's a bit different now, we are owned by a massive business, they the money, the will and the legal people to blow the prem's case apart, causing them even more embarrassment.
Hopefully, we should be able to argue that intrest on loans in a given, and if it's related to infrastructure then should come under infrastructure, us getting done for that would put a stop to others building new grounds.

I don’t see how it can now be revisited. Our 23/24 figures they have just passed incorporate the figures for the seasons they were disputing. Logically I don’t see how they could have passed us for 23/24 without first accepting the previous numbers. So it may just be that it has quietly gone away.

I somehow forgot that the PL were appealing the decision regarding Leicester . Any help would be appreciated in keeping us up ! Although respect to them for finding a technicality, I'd be delighted if we'd done it
