Honestly I don't care about City getting away with it. Doesn't mean I think we/Forest deserved it but when you hear the likes of Utd fans talking about it, who have spent an absolute fortune, they think they have a divine right to do so. Under these rules no club could ever compete outside of those that 'won' the foreign markets early.
City sticking two fingers up at them all gives me a little satisfaction tbh

A government regulator would want to show it isn't toothless like the premier league so I'd expect a heavy points deduction for Everton.

Just with the mess they have made of leicester, all the chelsea stuff hotels then rumours of just a fine for the past. All for me just shows was down to media / government/ fan pressure at the tume of the psr charge with us and forest to look strong and come doen hard on us. Just give up any faith that other teams will be treated like us . Only difference is if city get away witth it the so called top 6 will complain about it,

Can make the contract as long as you like. There’s a five year limit on amortisation though to stop Chelsea playing the game they were playing.

This is how I understand it as well. The wages paid each year are taken as an expense each year and the transfer fee paid is amortised over the life of the contract up to a maximum of 5 years.
