The whole point of the PSR rules is that the PL intervenes to ensure no team ever breaches PSR. If we had been owned by any rational owner then we wouldn't have breached PSR.

So there isn’t one then.

The PL is a rules based organisation and its handbook/rulebook delegates punishment on PSR breaches to the IC.It has lots of examples of sanctions for breaching the rules including going into administration but strangely it has none for PSR breaches.

The sanction is entirely at the ICs behest…it says so in the handbook/rulebook so there is no need to ask the PL board for guidance(which they don’t seem to have done) but the PL offered it anyway 5 months after Everton were charged.

I thought you were arguing in the last 10 days that we overspent and not because we misled the IC…make your mind up.
 
Calm down everyone.

We were playing man United.

Next week against forest it will be a different story. We would have struggled to beat united with or without the deduction.

We are doing very well this season away especially at the lesser lights of the league - hence -10 not even putting us bottom.

Luton, Burnley and Sheff United are terrible.

Give us a few weeks and we will be out of the more YET AGAIN.

WE HAVE DONE IT ONCE, WE CAN DO IT AGAIN.

His/her argument is that the PL thought they had MADE us comply, but because we misrepresented the interest, they were as shocked as anyone that we breached. May be correct? I don’t think so as they knew all of our mitigations, which were ultimately ignored. They knew. But far too much thought and effort put into constructing that argument to antagonise fellow blues on a bad night.
 
It's vital now that we win " our league" from now until the end of the season. By that I mean points scored between Sheff Utd, Burnley, Us, Luton, Bournemouth, Forest, Fulham, Palace, Brentford and Wolves. If we can win that league we should be ok.

Yeah, agree. We’ll get points reduced too, should be a formality. I’m more worried about the fines now. They could add up to £25m or £250m
