6 + 2 Point Deductions

It also said " No quantifiable sporting advantage" so which one should we believe, it certainly isn't clear is it.
The commission concluded that there was a sporting advantage but it cannot be quantified. That is pretty much it, I don't know where the perceived ambiguity is coming from.

I don't want the 10 pts to be reduced to 5 and we all say "well at least it's been halved"

I want them all back and a fine instead. Burnham is showing it up for what it was, an absolute sham

I don’t think we’ll get a fine as the whole point of the rule (superficially at least) is to stop clubs spending too much money as a safeguarding measure.
I think a reduction from 10 to 6 is possible. Might just be essential.

Where please? Which section? I don't see that term used in the report, but I could be missing it.
In Paragraph 92 the Premier League submits that the sporting advantage cannot be quantified. The commission itself doesn't actually state it, but it must be inferred that they agree.

First it did not use the term "cannot be quantified" as far as I can see.

Second; It was not the purpose of this commission to quantify this though? The purpose of this commission was to evaluate Everton's breach of PSR rules. The judgement clearly says those clubs are now free to pursue claims against Everton because sporting advantage (where presumably the impact will need to be quantified to establish what compensation, if any, is due).

That is in reference to the punishment being levied for the PSR breach only, **not** in respect of potential compensation claims by other clubs. You're misinterpreting it.

I doubt there are too many people now who believe prime Barcelona aren't well capable of holding onto or even extending their gap over us.

At least those two results over the weekend will stop the idiot "they'll get out of it anyway" comments. Only the numbness ever thought that.

We are overwhelming favourites to take the third drop place.
According to the bookies we’re not!

Firstly, I didn't mention potential compensation claims.

Secondly, it cannot be quantified for one purpose but it can for another? That doesn't make sense mate.

3 point deduction absolute max imo.

Either way we need a reduction and pronto because there's just no way that

1. We are not good enough as a footballing side/squad to be giving teams around us a 10 point head start

2. The weight of pressure will make this team crumble. You could sense it even yesterday, snatching at every opportunity presented to us when calm heads were needed. This team will sink under the weight of pressure of them.
