6 + 2 Point Deductions

Amazing that this is still a thing, since they announced that, Leicester have gotten away with PSR on a technicality, Manchester United losing money hand over fist and being allowed to write off standard business expenses to keep out of trouble, If we cant fight off a few million in interest payments given what's gone on since then we deserve to be anal fisted by the PL.
That United story seemed to just brushed under the carpet if I remember right.

Pathetic.

As someone said a few days ago, if they have already been audited on independally and we were given the ok. It seems the Prem league or whoever are trying to find things that dont exist
They did that last time though didn’t they? Weren’t they audited tons of times before they suddenly found something wrong? I think the club being the only one to admit they did something wrong probably didn’t help either

The club seems to be strangely tranquil right now; ownership issue sorted out in an apparently satisfactory way, team very hard to beat if nothing else, stadium all but done.

It'd be just like that monumentally corrupt scumbag PL organisation to come along and drop a 5-8 point deduction on us.

Surely they'll have to deal with City and decide on an actually penalty before they charge and penalise Everton.

Are City's charges the same as our recent ones? I can't imagine them spending more than their revenue and that rule didn't apply for most of the last 8 or 9 seasons, anyway.

City should get done for something. No matter what it is, as there is too many not to. Plus they are worst than ours, and who knows what City have been like since all the charges came about. They could still be acting in the same way

54x Failure to provide accurate financial information 2009-10 to 2017-18.

14x Failure to provide accurate details for player and manager payments from 2009-10 to 2017-18.

• 5x Failure to comply with Uefa's rules including Financial Fair Play (FFP) 2013-14 to 2017-18.

7x Breaching Premier League's PSR rules 2015-16 to 2017-18.

35x Failure to co-operate with Premier League investigations December 2018 - Feb 2023.

First of all I dont envisage a new points deduction for us - I just fear it. And I cant imagine TFG have plunged all that cash in without getting that matter ironed out first.

Second, if we were to be deducted points it'd be done without regard to City's timetable. 🤷‍♂️

Our breaches were largely incompetence. City’s are systematic and deliberate attempts to break the rules and conceal that for the best part of a decade.

If there’s any justice at all in the way the Premier League conducts itself, they will be punished incredibly severely.

If you look at the 14 charges related to accurate payments, HMRC will be looking with a vested interest, because potential tax evasion is a serious crime.

This club never represented or deserve the fans. Our supporters are fighters, hate injustices and never afraid to tell it straight.
This lot bent over and took it in the proverbial. Pathetic board and owner.
The premier league want us down. Don’t you kid yourself on that.

For a regime that needs its members to be interviewed by ManU and Liverpool football clubs says everything to me. (Masters)
The premier league and those clubs need investigation.
Everton should be the ones to highlight this. Still say our fan groups should have got together and took these bent Premier League scum bags to court. We paid massive amounts of cash following our team and then to be punished through no fault of their own.
The whole lot stinks and is a disgrace.

No matter what happens, what the future holds always remember that it's a bent, corrupt organisation who employ referees who are exactly the same.

Don't ever let anyone try and sweep those point deductions we received under the carpet. Don't let any fan of any other aide tell you "I was really hoping you'd escape relegation". Nearly every club, nearly every opposition with the "you cheating barstards, you know what you are" game in, game out.

Don't let it bother you if the rs win the league this season, it's meaningless, it's anti competitive, driven by people at the top who basically pick a name out of a hat pre season and go "yep, their turn to win it this season".

The excitement this season might come from a Bournemouth or a Fulham finishing 4th or 5th and get patted on the head "well done, but don't forget you'll need to sell your best 2 players and your manager is getting off" and there'll be 1 team in the relegation mix who will be a big side. This is there one last chance tontry and get us sent down because from next season we start again with people in charge who simply won't allow the incompetence within the club continue, and won't allow the continued bull that comes our way to continue.

Premier League, corrupt as fcuk

Don't ever forget.

Thing is, and it crossed my mind this morning, wouldn't we be the bad guys if, say, newly-minted Everton, the sleeping giant risen from slumber by the All-American Friedkins, lured Iraola from Bournemouth with our shiny nuevo estadio and the promise of a new project?

Imagine he takes them into the CL and we spring from the high grass and snare him for ourselves?

Not beyond the bounds...

I agree with most of what you say - but we were victims because we allowed ourselves to become victims. It's past time we punched our weight once more - and if that means devouring the hopes and dreams of fans of clubs like Bournemouth, well, we'd better stock up on toothpicks.
