Apart from @davek obvs.Of course. You are correct. Don't know what I was thinking tbh. I'm 46, and remember it well.
Oh well, we all make mistakes.
In the Queen/King/Monarch's English: 'koff back to OTIB ya boring shabite, there's a boring thread there you need to bore yourself onIf I was to place an honest guess I'd say Everton have not failed to 2023. To 2024 remains to be seen, given that hefty player sale profits are a way of balancing the books.
IKEA flat packs all the wayHow are clubs going to build new stadiums?
My worry is that the club potentially hoping to post stadium interest as a liability instead of PnL is going to get us in the next set much like they didn't expect it to be posted as an expense for the period we have already been penalised for.
I personally would be devastated.I honestly think people are just venting
Been a frustrating couple of seasons tbf
The same people could be shouting 'NO' if the club was actually folding

When I read this I thought 'you haven't got a clue' and I was right. In Evertons last league winning squad I believe there were only two home grown players who started in any of the 42 games namely Gary Steven’s and Kevin Ratcliffe
Did you donate £2 before the time ran out?
I agree, they will still come after out best players though. Most frustating system i can imagine and definitely designed to entrench sucess.Absolute grim reading the last few pages.
The Premier League might be a lot of things. Sustainable, at least for the majority of its member clubs, certainly isn't one of them. To be sustainable, you have to accept mediocrity which eventually means relegation fights. You'll fall through the trap door eventually. If they can't get you on the pitch, they'll get you off it.
This is the entrenched model for the also-rans. Develop your talent, and sell to the top-six. If you're lucky you can bask in the giddiness of a temporary place in the top 8, and you might get the odd cup run, going all the way to a semi-final.
But the happy clappers in Singapore or Norway aren't going to care about that one bit. Let the top six play in Europe and they can play each other as well 6 times a year.
