6 + 2 Point Deductions

Those two, Moshiri and Kenwright all signing players with no overall plan was an absolute disgrace

Rooney
Sigurdsson
Vladic
Klassen
Sandro
All in one window to play what formation exactly?
Add some stinking loser attitudes on top with a dash of Schneiderlin and Williams and put them all on mega wages and 5 year contracts - what could possibly go wrong!?
That’s what gripes the most - at least when Leeds “lived the dream” they got to a champs league semi final and somewhat contested the league title. What did we get - 6/7 place under koeman followed by a webbing by Atalanta and multiple years of mid table dross.

They couldn’t have made a bigger dogs breakfast of the transfer market if they had actively set out to sabotage the club.

Nottingham Forest appoint top lawyer to fight Premier League spending breach risk
Nottingham Forest have enlisted leading sports lawyer Nick De Marco as they attempt to avoid any Premier League charge for breaching financial regulations.

The biggest mistakes the PL have made with this is by deciding that they should throw the book at us. We brought it to the PL attention before we broke the limit, looking for direction to how we could still comply with FFP. Their coming down so severely on us for this offence and also saying we could expect further point deductions if we are charged again would likely encourage teams to adopt the City or Chelsea approach to FFP and just break the rules say nothing and see if the PL find out, maybe 10 years or more later.
Absolutely. It’s amazing how ‘honesty is the best policy’ has lost all meaning. Look at Partygate. Just delay, deny, deflect. If you get caught, you can say that happened years ago and no one’s arsed anymore.

How many other clubs are running at a loss and our wage bill must have dropped a huge amount in the last 3yrs. Mina, digne, Walcott, gylfi, James, Bernard, richarlison, bolasie. Delph, tosun, Allen, gbamin. Kean, iwobi, gray, Rondon.

Obviously we bought players, but there no way we’ve got close to the wage bill of a couple of years ago, we also had a much bigger squad compared to today
because we lost the usmanov sponsorship money, all the good work with the contracts coming to a end was ruined when that happened

Yep, Leeds had a wonderful team to watch for a few years
City became a juggernaut
Chelsea have won two champions leagues and multiple cups
Newcastle are watching their team compete in the champions league with PSG and Dortmund
Villa are right up there this season because they’ve spent loads
West Ham have spent loads and won the new Micky Mouse Europe cup and are having a good season this year again

Everton? Top of the pops, had Ancelotti and James for 10 minutes whilst the world had covid and now we’re absolutely wrecked financially for years and only just now coming out of it

We became that scally lottery winner

I didn’t think his sponsorship was a fortune. I read 12mil for the sleave sponsorship and training ground etc. yes we lost a bit but we got other sponsorship deals. Probably the James 200k a week covered the losses
