After betting being suspended last night Everton are priced at 9/2 on oddschecker to be relegated this morning, forest are 7/2. Today might not be as bad as people feared and all must bow down to The Esk…

I think they suspend some smaller markets over night as a rule so that people can’t manipulate things without them being able to keep an eye on it.

Looks like an open secret that us and Forest will be charged. I think if we've reduced our losses, and they accept that we didn't know that we'd breach until we lost the case from last year we have more chance of mitigation than Forest, who signed 43 players and who's defence is that they wanted more money for Brennan Johnson, especially given we sold Richarlison early in the exact same circumstances.

Why ? If we and Forest get 10 point deductions we are 5 points behind Burnley

And we’ve been 15 points better than them over 21 games so far.

Would imagine we would still be odds against to go down.

I understand the shock at the announcement but it really isn’t the doomsday scenario many are painting it to be.

If the rules are to be changed, and in a matter of a few months then all actions under the current policy should be suspended. If it has been deemed as not fit for purpose and requiring change, that is.

They will still be investigated for breaking rules that were in force at the time. If you get caught speeding in roadworks, you don’t get it rescinded the next day when the roadworks are cleared and the speed limit goes back up.

No but there's a fixed penalty and punishment which can change.

But the time City get their verdict it'll be 2025. So the punishment will be based on the rules then, not now.
