It does look like it was known already, including Forests involvement. Super lawyers appearing, new political Everton supporters writing letters suddenly. Burnham etc saying “This is now not just Everton’s fight”. The appeal looks like the front line, but we have shifted to get the whole structure discredited.

Bet Forest executives suddenly got very communicative with ours (if we have any left) over recent months too, when they finally stopping pointing and laughing at us.
 
No way we get another 10 point deduction.

Original mitigation(s) will still be relevant, and the fact we've already been punished is huge mitigation, imo. There's clearly an overlap.
 
So if we are over be 10mil and forest 20mil if we don’t t get 8 points and forest 10 points. Then surely that makes our first deduction a farce. Seen a forest fan on you tube saying saying they’re getting 6 points

I think if we are in breach again given that 3 of the 4 years are the same there will have to be an element of “concurrent sentences” to avoid double counting. Anything’s possible but I can’t see it ending up 20 points. It probably would quash hope of getting points back from where we currently are but it may only get slightly worse if at all.

And not that we did not try...but no takers really on any of our big players in term of wages...gbamin, gomes, Dele (only small portion of wages covered for all those players). No takers on dcl either or mina because of fitness concerns. We sold what we could which was Gordon in January.
 


Just a crap way to sort things isn't it for the entire league. For all the talk of sporting integrity there's a realistic scenario now that Luton could play for a point last game of the season which would see them safe by a point, only for us or forest to win an appeal a week later and send them down. The entire bottom 7 or 8 have absolutely no idea if their final standing will actually be where they finish

And a points deduction is also a financial penalty due to dropping down the league so getting penalised twice.
