6 + 2 Point Deductions

If we are over on the basis of accounting errors again as up until 1st charge we 'believed' these to be fine, and as from first charge the IC saying that they don't think we purposely done this to cheat the system, I can't see how they can hit us for the same again.
My hope if found guilty again is that they explain this and give us a suspended deduction while then still being able to hammer Forest as its their first time.
Have gave up hope of getting any points back though, but at least that would leave us out of the bottom 3 and such Forest right in.

I was chating to my misses last night and trying to explain to her that there has to be a better system than dedications of points if someone breaks psr. She said, well you can’t just give a fine because fining someone that’s in financial trouble doesn’t make sense. I think that’s where generalisation from people who don’t know much about it appears from.

People think you can’t fine a club for breaking rules because you have broken financial rules when really docking points could be far more damaging financially than a large fine ever would. If Everton or Forest go down then I hope they take the Premier League to court and sue them for hundreds of millions because of this.

Oh also just a side note. Where are the super league 6’s point deductions? Are we still waiting for them?

I think the super lawyers will be going all guns blazing, and threatening to take the matter much, much further through senior/european courts due to them themselves breaching fair play european competition rules.

The PL wont want their name dragged through the mud (even more) so I reckon we will come up with a “deal”.

Suspended points, transfer embargo etc. Serious, but not existential penalties.

I don’t understand how we can be docked points twice for this in the same season. Even if the July 2020 to June 2021 period wrecks the books for three consecutive assessments, wouldn’t the assessments just be annually and put us at risk for points deductions across multiple seasons? Getting hit with two separate penalties in less than three months time for same crime, different year makes no sense in this case.

Fingers crossed

At what time? 20/21 accounts, for example?

It would be reasonable to say that a failure to enforce the rules at the point of breach would be their fault.
The P&S final submissions from Everton for year 21/22 sent to the PL till March 23 the charge was made within weeks with an application from the PL to the Commission that the complete process be concluded by 25/5. It doesnt in the written reasons that Everton agreed with that request but the commission rejected the proposal.
