Also, how was the permissable loss figure arrived at?

Is it just an arbitrary number or is there a logic behind it? Also, is it inflation linked, to take into account economic changes?

If not, again it all seems against any idea of natural justice

Right now, yes.

He's been back to his old self thes elast few weeks/months

6 in 6. Best run of his career. Change of manager and style has saved him there.

If we could, we'd have bought him back for what we sold him for every week since he left.

He was worth more to Everton than what we should him for, no question but he had to be sold.

One goal in the league last season. Sixty million pounds. Spurs got absolutely rinsed on that deal.

Everyone who was so desperate to keep the scab 6 in the league should hang their heads in shame.

The league has now bent over backwards to create an environment where all the other teams are forced to sell cheap to them.

That was their “punishment” for the super league.
They weren't trying to leave the Premier League. Until it stops being beneficial for them, they won't do that.

If it helps you sleep better mate, keep telling yourself that. £50m with potential for £60m.

We paid £45m for Beto and Chermiti.

I said on here I'd have let him run down his contract if FFP wasn't a thing, because he was worth £50m for us per season to keep us in the league.

Richarlison scored 43 league goals in 135 appearances for us. 53 goals in 152 in total.

We sold Brazils number 9 ahead of a world cup at 25 for £50m rising to £60m. He's 26 - Spurs won't lose out on what they paid.

Everton had to sell because of FFP, against a FFP timeline is the headline. We wouldn't have sold him for that if we didn't have to - at the very least we would have waited until after world cup.

I'm perfectly in the middle of this.

My old man has been going to the game since the 60s with his Dad and brothers and more recently me. He'll be absolutely heartbroken.

Add to that my 2 kids (both younger than 3)... what is going to be the state of football as and when they show an interest in it?

It would mean the world to my Dad to take his Grandson to his first Everton game - whether that's at Goodison or Bramley Moore - but what's the point if our league positioning is determined by money, not the competition on the grass?
Exactly, football is meant to be for everyone to enjoy not for accountants and lawyers.

And yet here they are bringing a club to its knees for going a quarter of an Antony over an accountancy target.
