This is the bit that feels wrong to me - they’re double counting. I know they do it over a rolling three year period but if you’ve ever already been punished for two of the three seasons in a rolling period and the rules make no acknowledgment t if that there’s something wrong. Sure a decent lawyer would tear that to pieces.

People still tarnish us with spending too much on transfers but in this 3 year period we haven't spent much at all. Sold more than we've spent.

If we didn't build a stadium we'd be fine too
If we didn't start dive bombing in the league post Carlo and spent tens of millions sacking managers, we'd be fine too.
My main point is that over the last few years if you just looked solely at transfers of players, we've balanced that out. If we didn't have the stadium situation we'd be under.
At the moment though the biggest issue the PL and the club have is payments involving the stadium.
And I've said before, if it was solely poor transfer business, I'd accept everything we get. But it isn't.

The point of the post wasn't being innocent in it, it was showing the hypocrisy of what's actually happening in the league compared to the reasons we're being given sporting penalties for.
People are generally thick, lazy and can’t be bothered researching something. Honestly it’s a symptom of society in general and not just football fans, you see it in all walks of life. People are just social media zombies and click bait fiends like Talksport play on this and throw out completely bogus lies that they know people will just see and eat up without actually looking into it. It’s why we’ll never be able to come together on any issue in order to fight a higher power like they do in other countries.
