Yes, I agree that both the trend (that we have had a net positive transfer balance) and double jeopardy could save us from another deduction, but then again, I would have thought so too for the first breach. We have sold players and no way had a sporting advantage as we have not bought anyone.
I just think there is strong mitigation for the 2nd charge as the they are taking this over a 3 year period.
It will be interesting to know what amount the 2nd breach is and how much it is compared to Forest
Great, let’s bet on the club getting destroyed.FYI, we are currently 8/1 to go down. Not bad odds if we get a second deduction.
Yeah thats true actually, hopefully this takes the wind out of their sailsHow do you work that out? If we get 6 luton are only a point ahead of us. Hardly needs a collapse
Not if the other charge is not scrapped.
If they get hit with 6 points from here they'll be on 18 pointsForrest are delighted with this - they are saying that they are defo staying up if they are only hit with 6 points, prefer to be us then them like.
Or 7 ahead of Luton to be doubly sure.Four points will be key being ahead of Forest.
No idea mate.
I can't get the club saying they had no choice to breach again out of my head.
We had a choice.
I'm not in any way qualified to interpret this, but when I try and read it, I would be betting on us getting hit again with the 2nd charge.
Surely if two of the three years (for the second charge) overlap with the first, then it will only be a further two points deducted? That's the logical conclusionIf we get hit again for a further 6 it leaves us 2pts below Luton, that's the scenario we need to be planning for
How did get off with it when we still got hit for 6 points ?
So we'd need to go over 41 million in losses for this year to breach? I don't see how we possibly could with the player sales, wage reduction, lack of transfers in etcInteresting. According to the official judgement, our losses across the three seasons in question were: Season one: £55million. Season two: £55 million. Season three: £9 million.
Now that Season one has dropped off, the figures for the second breach are therefore: Season one: £55 million. Season two :£9 million. Season three: ?????
They acknowledged that we slammed the brakes on in the third season, and we definitely carried that on into 22/23, so I would even be surprised if it turns out we really have gone over the £105 million this time??
