Stefan from the Borg collective is really pushing the compensation claim, basically saying all the clubs should have kept going for it. The guy really does despise this club and hates that we are coming out of the hole we have been in. He is doing it to divert attention in my opinion, but hopefully we will find out about City soon so he can focus on his own backyard.
They never said it was so small they couldn't assign value to it, that would in itself be quantifying it. They said the advantage can't be quantified, sure, but that's not the same thing.
They didn't 'suggest there could have been' either, they concluded there was.
Classic us.
Classic us.
It doesn't mean that at all, what are you talking about? They said that we gained no quantifiable advantage.
In a footballing sense, it means we gained no advantage.
Good luck trying to prove there was a quantifiable advantage when it's been established there wasn't a quantifiable advantage.
If they row back on that, we need to go over the whole process again in my view.
Any advantage gained needs to be divided into 3 as that's how many seasons we were punished for, so no quantifiable advantage/3...They said that we gained no quantifiable advantage.

Can we appeal this?

Burnley 19/20 54 points
Burnley 20/21 39 points
Burnley 21/22 35 points
They were on a downward trajectory not caused by us spending 19.5 million more than we should have over a 3 season period including mitigation not accepted by the commission such as Iceland.
I just don't see how there is any case to answer, when things outside of transfers pushed us to the 19.5 million over spend... If there was no war then Uzzy's blag sponsorship would have seen us compliant. And not predicting and planning ahead for Russia invading Ukraine ! Or the other way round if you are Donald Trump...

No, it said "Thefact that that sporting advantage cannot be quantified but must be inferred..."They said that we gained no quantifiable advantage.
