6 + 2 Point Deductions

Stefan from the Borg collective is really pushing the compensation claim, basically saying all the clubs should have kept going for it. The guy really does despise this club and hates that we are coming out of the hole we have been in. He is doing it to divert attention in my opinion, but hopefully we will find out about City soon so he can focus on his own backyard.

He's just wringing out the last drops of the Everton gravy train. He's made a fortune off of our misfortune and is probably wondering what he's going to do once the city case ends and when he can't talk about us.

Ive seen it said in a few places the most Burnley can get from us is 10million, if they won. No idea how the figure came about, other than someone just making a numbe up, maybe. While that City Clown (we know who) has acted like we will settle it privately

They never said it was so small they couldn't assign value to it, that would in itself be quantifying it. They said the advantage can't be quantified, sure, but that's not the same thing.

They didn't 'suggest there could have been' either, they concluded there was.

They said that we gained no quantifiable advantage.

In a footballing sense, it means we gained no advantage.

Good luck trying to prove there was a quantifiable advantage when it's been established there wasn't a quantifiable advantage.

If they row back on that, we need to go over the whole process again in my view.

It doesn't mean that at all, what are you talking about?

Any advantage gained needs to be divided into 3 as that's how many seasons we were punished for, so no quantifiable advantage/3...
Burnley 19/20 54 points
Burnley 20/21 39 points
Burnley 21/22 35 points (relegated)
They were on a downward trajectory not caused by us spending 19.5 million more than we should have over a 3 season period including mitigation not accepted by the commission such as Iceland.

And not predicting and planning ahead for Russia invading Ukraine ! Or the other way round if you are Donald Trump...

I just don't see how there is any case to answer, when things outside of transfers pushed us to the 19.5 million over spend... If there was no war then Uzzy's blag sponsorship would have seen us compliant.

I'm amazed we never made more of that, City would have had the Commision laughed out of Court for that. Thank God Moshiri and Kenwright have gone.

No, it said "Thefact that that sporting advantage cannot be quantified but must be inferred..."

In a footballing sense, it means we did gain some advantage, though it is not possible to say exactly how much.
