Supporting Everton just became much easier given that the most likely outcome is relegations and money pumped out to support their other clubs. It really takes the edge out of the anxiety about our future.
Support them to do what exactly?

Build better infrastructure such as new academy's or training grounds to develop players.

Access the African, South American and Asian markets due to less restrictions around visa and work permit issues.

Ability to loan players around the group to improve player development.

All of which then provide the club(s) at the top of the pyramid access to the cream of the crop. That's why we've seen the rise in multi club ownership. Look at the Red Bull model as an example.

I agree we are on shaky ground - have been for a long time legally and i suspect the slae is prompted by an anticipated axe that's in the warning.

But this sale makes absolutely no difference to our finances at all, its perhaps in the absence of Moshiri's investment makes them worse and creates new problems.
The sale does make a difference to our finances mate. You are looking at Moshiri from a historical perspective (firing in cash) rather than the current position where he is busted and has nothing to put in, for the stadium or the day to day running of the club. We know they aren't going to fund a player splurge or anything, but they will at least ensure the club has enough cash flow for day to day running, it's not in their interests to do otherwise. And right now that alone is an improvement.

You cant sell a business with debt in the UK.

The £240 million in loans need to be paid off.

So Everton will become 100% debt free in just a couple of months time, upon completion of the takeover by December?

Are we 100% sure of that? It doesn’t sound like the worst set of circumstances should it be true. Sounds like a lifesaver if that’s accurate!

Genoa relegated and promoted the following season.

Took over Hertha Berlin in March 2023 with them rock bottom of the league. They went down.

Vasco de Gama promoted to top division first season, struggling in the top division this season.

Standard Liege pretty much same position as when they took over, no real change.

777 woooop

NOT

777 have got a loan of provident, haven't they. Provvy bloke will come round every Friday night to pick up the cash to pay back the loan.

Come the third Friday, 777 will be yelling at the kids to turn the telly off and then hiding behind the sofa hoping the provvy man effs off until next week.

No. That’s not how it works.

And they are private equity, the debt is somewhere. They are using other peoples money (they don’t have it themselves) those other people will expect a return.

How do you envisage doing this

Posting up a storm isn't going to help
I'd love to see boycotting games if they truly are as bad as they look. Money talks.
Money does talk boycotting games just wont work fans always eant see he team play. Is plenty of ways not buying club merch, at the ground fans not buying food or anything in the ground. Is other things aswell, will be people with better ideas than what i have
