Investments in businesses, fintech/IT in general.

*ALLEGEDLY* worth billions, but that means nothing about how they'd spend it on us and all that.

I know. They've something £12billion in "assets".

Those don't wash with the PL who will want to know where the actual £500mill cash is coming from. Which they don't have from their assets.

There will be more investors through their company bankrolling it. Will just be a case of what the leverage on the club.

Think they've spread themselves too thin buying up all these clubs in a short period myself.

It will be loans on their $8bn portfolio which Everton will have to pay for..... leveraged in all but name, that with the debts we already have means the club is massively in trouble.

777 have assets but no actual cash...

Similar to what Chelsea have done. Have a billion pound debt facility towards them they haven't 'yet' leveraged on the club.

I'm just glad that carpet-bagging freak has cleared out. I wanted him gone before I even wanted Kenwright gone.

7 years of pandemonium in which time the credibility and stability of Everton has been wrecked.

No idea what this new lot are up to and we'll have to hold judgement on that, but it feels like a window has been thrown open and we can breathe some fresh air again.

They paid about 20p for all the other clubs.

if the Hertha deal is anything to go by they're deals paid back over time and with targets, not upfront, which is again a sound investment tactic... if you're investing in a stable or up-and-coming product or service.

However, Everton is Everton and is not that.

I mean...I guess they have the collateral and multiple assets to pay the £500mill + stadium + recycling the debt the club has.

They can also offset things for and against us.

The only things I'd like is to add some financial stability, improve the commercials, give Dyche at least some money that he can even afford to get loans it at least.

That stability in the biggest football league in world football, with the new stadium, will generate a big revenue stream for them.
