Would love to know the interest rate on these loans. I fear it will be staggeringly high and likely won't be refinanced if the takeover completed, providing a nice neat (non-dividend based) long term mechanism for 777 feeding off our emaciated remains.

Unfortunately true. As I saw someone else point out, 777 are the second worst thing that could happen to Everton. But the worst is what’s already happening.
They *might* be the second worst thing but at this point as a club we are DEAD unless we get investment literally now. We are taking out payday loans everywhere we can. 777 might have no money, Moshiri definitely has no money, maybe as little as not even 8 figures

That's possible

But in terms of cashflow, they are not going to do something that will potentially put the asset they are about to acquire into further financial trouble. That would make no sense. All we know so far is that they have provided a loan - clearly we need funds for cashflow. I just don't see us paying them a huge rate of interest.

Have to look at what they have done with their existing businesses and it seems to be in the region of 18%

I fully expect them to sell the stadium and lease it back

Our brand new stadium of which we are all so proud and hopeful about, and by the time it's built we won't even own it anymore

Absolutely gutting

While I said this a while ago (had an idea Mosh would want to keep a sharehold and a chunk of the sale)....I'm sure I was told on here that due to an agreement it can't be sold to be leased back.

Maybe wrong.

I'm not sure why anyone would want this takeover stopped. They're the only willing buyer and we are 10 mins from administration
Agree 100% with this. As horrible as it all is, we're on the verge of going into administration, which will automatically incur a points deduction and almost certainly see us relegated.

This is our only hope of avoiding it. Time is rapidly running out

when the deal was announced, Moshiri said “The stadium is fully funded” this loan is clearly to finish the stadium funding.

The R&M thing is probably the final piece of the stadium funding, don’t think it’s as bad as everyone making out

Moshiri has long been an unreliable narrator. He has spent the last 18 months repeatedly asserting that he's a fabulously wealthy billionaire who could absolutely pay for the stadium himself if needed. All that whilst the club has taken on ever higher levels of debt from genuinely frightening characters and entities.
