There isn’t a back up, MSP investing was plan A, nixed by Bill’s mates, 777 full takeover is Plan B, that fails we’ll be the first PL team since Portsmouth to go into Admin as no one else is gonna look twice with our financial situation or there’d be a bidding war by now
It’s really grim.

We’re currently 9/4 to get relegated. While I could never bring myself to put that bet on, between the FFP charge and the likelihood of administration (and our general rubbishness) that looks INCREDIBLE value.

Did he say anything about the meeting or whatever he had,
Not really because they didn’t tell him anything because they can’t. Same as the meeting with the fan advisory group. He used the attention he had gained in telling everyone that he had a meeting with 777 to write a long piece attacking Moshiri again and saying 777 were not the right owners. This assumption was largely based on guesswork.

The guy clearly knows his way round a balance sheet but ever since the days of him claiming he was ITK re Witsel and Mata he has been an attention seeker and I can’t help but think this is his motivation in much of what he writes.

All day - MSP was indeed nixed by Bill's mates. MSP proved they could raise capital (140m?) from their underlying investors at relative short notice and this would have been the first of a series of capital calls resulting in them owning the club possibly even by now.

The rest is history. The casino/bookmakers pals of Bill's behind RMF put a kibosh on MSP's plans, most certainly at Bill's behest. Let that sink in. The spiteful old fool is leaving scorched earth behind him on the way out. Our financial position has deteriorated hugely over recent months as a result.

It's a strange business- I thought it was surprising anyway they would grant a 2 hour audience to someone who doesn't really represent the fans in any official capacity, and it's also strange that having been given the sort of communication he's always crying out for he is now if anything more vehemently against them, without disclosing anything from his meeting that would indicate why.

Exactly. I think people (including some prominent bloggers) need to realise 777 are the backup plan and there's no sign of a backup to the backup. People are entitled to their own conclusions about what's less bad out of them or Moshiri but as unpalatable as that choice is "neither" doesn't appear to be an option.

If 777 falls through Moshiri must drop his price mate.

Surely there must be other interested parties apart from 777. Yes the club is in a mess but if the correct people could turn the clubs fortunes around it could well be a very good investment long term. I don’t get it 🤷‍♂️
