We're going into administration next month apparently.
Just absolute nonsense. Yeah, if 777 doesn’t go through it causes problems but we’re not to just go “oh well, administration for us” next month and take another 9 points.

The worst case scenario is having to fund the club through to summer or whenever a takeover is completed with Jan player sales. That’s not ideal but with the emergence of Branthwaite and the return to fitness of DCL the value of the squad has grown a fair bit and there would be options.

No club on the planet is going to go into administration over 20m a month (temporary) shortfall when there are so many high value playing assets to trade.

Exactly. Worst case scenario (and it would be worst case) We sell a Branthwaite, Onana or a Pickford which kicks us down the road to the end of the season or for another few months whilst some other party shows an interest.

We can shoot the messenger all we want but we knew where we stood when 777 had to start loaning us money to pay the bills. Administration was always a possibility

It’s a possibility long term, but not next month as he suggests. Administration is an absolute last resort for any business and a business with numerous high value sellable assets is not in that territory.

Administration? Its not going to happen. With the deadwood almost all gone. Wages reasonable, no silly big signings of late (but big sales), no expected big signings, new hugely increased stadium revenue, few quid from the old lady, improved money from better league position(s), possibly a lot better/europe if we continue the good form and get our points back. Etc etc.

777 come in and we tread water, whilst we get our feet back on the ground, then slowly progress with sensible decisions, slightly better finances and generally being run top to bottom A LOT better than Bill/Moshiri.
