I dont think moshiri would do that but would be very similar to ashley at newcastle he would just put money in to keep us going that is it. Maybe look into 777 doing what united have done or another

Ashley ran Newcastle superbly compared to what Moshiri has done with us.

The big question is does Moshiri have access to his funds to keep us running??

honestly no idea maybe msp come back in and he sells some shares off, one thing is clear he wants out i just dont think he would want to loose so much money if he did let us go into administration.

Moshiri would be stupid to allow that to happen, and there would be more than one interested party if the price comes down.

Time is not on our side, however.

Time is a massive factor. Whoever is looking to buy us will want to do their due dillengence and at the same time keep funding us with money to maintain the Stadium build.

If 777 do get rejected what terms have we agreed with regards to the money they have invested/loaned us.

Even if 777 gets binned a new owner will have to go through this fit n proper test all over again. [Poor language removed] masters and his corrupt numpties dragging the chain.

That is the big worry for me one of the reasons i want 777 to happen because no idea what terms they have put into thr loans

We got 10 points for the first one, and if they uphold that why would we get anything different for the second?
I see the reasoning, but as this season is 'unique' in which they decide to deal with any cases before season end (as it should be) there's no logic to suggest they'd impose the same punishment for just 1/3rd of a period we've already been punished for.

Once we are in the new cycle of charges being punished 'in season' any club in breach the previous would have a summer window to ensure they were in compliance for the following season.

It's entirely different for Notts F, their charge is for just one season, and they went horrendously over. If they apy the same formula they made up for our first charge, they'll get hammered for about 100 points

Everton and 777 Partners are expecting contact from the Premier League this week as the top tier’s directors and owners’ test finally reaches conclusion.

All outstanding questions have been answered by the Miami-based consortium, with the club still confident it will learn its fate within the fortnight.

Insiders with understanding of the process say the Football Association has already approved the deal, although the governing body has yet to comment.

Premier League contact with 777 over the coming days is expected to include an exact date for a decision. The company, one of a growing number of multi-club owners, agreed to purchase owner Farhad Moshiri’s 94 per cent stake in September. It has since provided Everton with a further £30 million in funding, taking the total loan from the American investment firm to £180 million.

The directors and owners’ test verdict is likely to be delivered within days of Everton finding out whether an appeal against a 10-point deduction has been successful. The club, along with Nottingham Forest, has also been charged with financial breaches for the latest three-year cycle.

For 777, there remains optimism the deal will finally be signed off, despite having aimed to be completed by Christmas. Clearance from the Financial Conduct Authority was provided in December but Premier League chief executive Richard Masters suggested last month that questions still needed to be answered while speaking at a Culture, Media and Sport Committee hearing.

There is recognition on all sides that if the takeover were to fall through and Everton were placed into administration, then 777 would face a huge battle to recoup the £150 million they have already provided in funding.

Everton were hit by claims that the takeover could be put in danger by allegations regarding one of 777s subsidiaries, 777Re, which is a Bermuda-based reinsurer.

But, as reported last month, sources close to 777 insist the reinsurer has been placed under administrative control as part of a reorganisation of the industry by Bermudan authorities, rather than being placed into administration, and that there are no issues for their funding of the Everton deal as a result.

The Premier League’s directors and owners’ test has been tightened in recent years, but resolving the Everton situation is now top priority after Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s investment in Manchester United was cleared within eight weeks.

Worry is a potential buyer might take a gamble if the 777 deal gets rejected by the Premier League and let us go into adminstration before making a move to acquire us.
Moshiri’s price would necessarily be lowered if 777 fell through.

A new buyer would prefer a discounted pre-administration purchase rather than the points deduction and increased chance of relegation that comes with admin, I think.

But that’s not to say they wouldn’t hardball him close to the edge first.
