Thing is it’s either 777 partners or bust

Morshiri has already indicated that he is unwilling or unable to further fund the club so we have little choice.

If there were other suitors other than 777 then we would of heard about them by now, the only other ones were MSP and they withdrew leaving us here.

There has been reports of others waiting in the wings. No details mind

Hes literally had other offers. Very publicly.

Scumbags.

Dissapointing if they end up sealing a deal. Come on Cahill find us an arab man with lots of oil.

Your hero doesn’t want to sell to anyone else. 777 are offering him the best deal on paper. Sir Farhad who’s been so kind and generous to us and invested so much, won’t leave here a penny worse off than he has to.

Blood on your hands along with anyone else who’s defended this cowboy.

At one of the board meetings Moshiri said should 777 fail he will start bank rolling the club again, it will be in the board meeting minutes.

He also said he could fund the stadium himself. Since then he’s racked up about £400m worth of debt related to the stadium from external lenders and not funded any of it. The fella is an absolute shithouse and a liar.

We don't know this for a fact but there have been rumours circulating that if the price drops other ( perhaps more stable and responsible) buyers might be interested.

It would appear to be that administration would follow if 777 can't / won't complete the deal but whilst that's back for Everton it is absolutely disastrous for Moshiri and you would have to think that he'd put his hand in his pocket again until he comes up with a new buyer.
Administration will categorically not happen... Moshiri will not allow his asset go for nothing if he needs to put £20m/£40 in for the next few months to get 100s of millions on the sale.

Thats like you buying a range Rover for £75k, the engine blows and instead of having the engine replaced for £10k to sell it you just get £200 scrapping it.

Isn't that what I said?

Or am I going mad.

This makes no sense to me. If he has got the ability to continue funding the club, pay for the stadium etc then why isn't he doing it? Why is he so desperate to get rid that he's taken a buy now pay later deal with 777?

Clearly the best option for him financially, if he wants to recoup as much money as possible, would be to fund the stadium build and then look to re-structure the stadium debt like Spurs did with their stadium, although on a higher rate.

I appreciate that he's struggling to find a lender currently but once the stadium is up and running and our revenues have increased by £50m or so off the back of it then surely this would be much easier to do?

At this point we would also be a much more attractive proposition to outside investors/ new owners.

If 777 get rejected, we have a huge amount of debt loaded onto us and 777 will potentially want to be paid up early or their funding turned into equity/shares.

Moshiri will have options open to him because he will not want to go into administration and not will any of the other groups want to because they will lose a hell of a lot of money.

Moshiri might continue to fund us until a further party raises their head plus he could lean on MSP or the other groups who have cash in Everton.

He wants out, he wants nothing to do with the club.

Because of that, he’s not willing to put more capital at risk.
