If next month 777 decide to pull out and Moshiri refuses to fund the club how long does it take to go into administration? Feels like we’re living month to month
It would be more a case of that Moshiri can’t fund the club mate I.e. he can’t afford it. If it goes into administration he essentially just walks away from everything he’s ever put in and sets the club on fire.
You see clubs like Leeds have in the past sold for for £1. That’s because they leave behind loads of debt for the next owners. But a PL club, its generating power and assets will be attractive if going for £1.
Moshiri isn’t at the point that he wants to sell us fr a £1 yet, he’s agreed a highly structured deal with 777 were he gets something North of £150 mill over time with clauses, that’s why he’s selling to 777. - because usually they wouldn’t get near this, it’s too good an opportunity for them to miss.
Us going into administration would be huge reputation damage for Moshiri across his diverse sectors. While he defo doesn’t want to draw the ire of politicians.
So he either drops his price and negotiates a new deal, he funds us, he puts into administration or we renegotiate with creditors. All the other options would be more palatable before administration for him (and our creditors), in my opinion.
