A footballing dilemma, for fathers

My daughter has always been under strict instructions never to bring a rs home with her and she never has, all boyfriends have been blues or nonconformists. She has recently been seeing a lad, and I can tell she is serious about him, you know the thing, wings on heels, living on another planet, walking around with her mobile super glued to her ear.

Yesterday she sat me down and told me that this guy may be the one for her. When asked the awful question she replied "what me with one of them, no chance" then it came, he is a, how can I put this, it hurts sooo much, a f------ barcode. One degree above a rs and two above a Leeds fan. I rather he be a Manc than a bloody barcode.

A part from disowning her what can I do to bring an end to this unholy alliance?
