Look at 99.9% of systems and you'll find rich, powerful men. They built those systems to serve and they'll do what it takes to maintain them.
Pretty telling that the only person in jail for Epstein‘s abuse is Ghislain Maxwell.

Not saying she doesn’t deserve all that she got but you’d think some of his other abusers/enablers who are men should be there too.

Exactly. I remember being much, much younger and reading a book about the Moors murders and, though not being sympathetic to Myra Hindley, it highlighted how much more reviled she was by the British public than Ian Brady.
The tone in news reports was harsher, the headlines sterner. That applies to Fred and Rose West too. Symptomatic of the system.

Kevin Spacey has been a nonce for years but has been found not guilty in court and that doesn't matter anymore as long as that accusation is made.
I mean that is seriously simplifying the claims against Spacey considering 3 of his accusers died before the trial took place and it was established during the trial that he was a seriously slimy individual around young men. Acquitted of the charges, yes, still wouldn’t want him around any young people in my family, I don’t know about you?

So why didn't they just go to the police. Then to the crown prosecution service and he could have been in jail by now. Since when did trial by tv become a thing?
From thr Times article
“Nadia, meanwhile, had told a close friend what had happened and she took her to the Rape Treatment Center (RTC) at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center that same day. She has shared a full copy of her treatment records, which state that she provided her underwear and other samples as evidence, which were frozen. An officer from the Los Angeles Police Department was alerted by the centre, according to the notes, but she chose not to make a police report — saying to the centre she “didn’t think my words would mean anything up against his”. The notes also state that “she was worried that, if her assailant’s name is somehow released, then her name will be dragged through the dirt”. Nadia had therapy at the clinic for the following five months.”

My saw this part last night.
I wonder if that evidence is still viable and admissible?

There’s no doubt she was raped, she was examined after the attack and there is documentation to back up her claim.
The question is whether Brand did it. You’d imagine if there was admissible DNA evidence collected and she follows through with a complaint to police, this could be what potentially sends him down.

Seen as ‘double deviancy’ isn’t it. A woman committing a crime against others as well as ‘their nature’.

Times also saw texts from a phone they confirmed was Brands at the time.
