Unfortunately the amount of rape cases that end up in court or people charged is 3% for the UK.

Something needs to change in the legal system.

The legal system in this country is designed to protect businesses and property and nothing else, the public are there to fund and fuel it, as it serves the system and is a business itself.

Exactly. I remember being much, much younger and reading a book about the Moors murders and, though not being sympathetic to Myra Hindley, it highlighted how much more reviled she was by the British public than Ian Brady.
The tone in news reports was harsher, the headlines sterner. That applies to Fred and Rose West too. Symptomatic of the system.

Kevin Spacey has been a nonce for years but has been found not guilty in court and that doesn't matter anymore as long as that accusation is made.

I mean that is seriously simplifying the claims against Spacey considering 3 of his accusers died before the trial took place and it was established during the trial that he was a seriously slimy individual around young men. Acquitted of the charges, yes, still wouldn’t want him around any young people in my family, I don’t know about you?

So why didn't they just go to the police. Then to the crown prosecution service and he could have been in jail by now. Since when did trial by tv become a thing?

There’s no doubt she was raped, she was examined after the attack and there is documentation to back up her claim.
The question is whether Brand did it. You’d imagine if there was admissible DNA evidence collected and she follows through with a complaint to police, this could be what potentially sends him down.
