Mate get on the phone to Bobby and tell him you have scouted some winger from Mongolia on FM2015 and he's got a 19 rating for pace and 20 for fair you utter toad

That's not a particular bad record and Spurs have some relatively good players in their squad, in both the wide and number ten position.

It may not be the star-studded starlet that we all wish for, however he's a winger which what we all require. Let's not judge before he plays.

You may question the stats regarding his goals. You may also mention his assists. However, who is offering those on the left right now?

I always think the "assists" stat is most artificial of the plethora of "stats" which plague the mindset of a certain breed of modern day manager and fan.

For all we know a player might have put it on a plate half a dozen times in a game for a mis-firing striker and gets credited with no "assists"

A teammate mishits a shot however but a colleague pounces on it to score and the former is credied with one.

For example.....Lukaku mis-controlled the ball at Baggies last season, Kev takes off him and scores. Chalk up an "assist" to Rom.

Kev himself slices a shot at Arsenal in the cup but Ross knocks it in. Assist given to Kev.

Very underwhelmed however, better than signing no wingers. We have been dire on the flanks and hopefully with him having something to prove and Atsu playing well for Ghana, we could have two players who may hit form at the right time.

Or more likely they'll fit right into our rich vein of pure gash.

He doesn't do either. Let's hope he suddenly does but he never has. Even that one full season you're lauding is bang average at best.

I would, but unfortunately I haven't played football manager since I started get hairs on my balls, it was called championship manager back then.
