Embarrassed Kev today with his work rate but I wouldn't take him next season, not at his age and some other factors. Sorry lad, hell of a game today...but I don't trust footballers or your intentions these days.

for around 4-5m? he's 27 not 34, 3-4 year deal would be sound.

Depends how much he costs tbh. Had my doubts about him, and still do about some aspects of his game, but definitely warming to him.
He seems a nice lad who has fitted in well with the team and he works hard. We are desperately short of wingers, even in the youth squad, and doubt at least two of the senior three we currently own (Pienaar and Mirallas) will be here next year. Being able to buy/loan 3-4 wingers is going to be difficult enough given some of the other gaps we have in the squad, let alone integrating them. If we could buy/loan two really good ones in addition to having McGeady/Lennon that might work out OK.

We're short on wingers right now, and in the summer i expect, Atsu, Pienaar, Mirallas and maybe Mcgeady to go.
We need about three wingers to come in, and i want lennon to be one of them.
If we can get Konoplyanka on a free also, with maybe delf on loan or someone else that'd be fantastic but we have to bring in a lot of players in the summer because there will be departures.

Tbf Lennon's workrate has always been one of his strengths, both for England and Spurs. Honestly doubt it would be affected by a perm deal. Worth offering a contract if he keeps playing like he did today, means he'll be comfortable on the park and won't have to spend the first part of next season fitting in with the way the team plays.Desperate to impress just .. you would be afraid to offer him a contract in case his work effort goes as soon as it's signed. If available for 5-7 million or whatever it is, its well worth it especially with the ridiculous sums payed for players these days.

He's always worked his ass off. Don't think that's something we need to worry about deserting him. At the right price I'd deffinately take him. As said tho, we could need 3-4 wingers coming in the summer.
