I’d defo have him just know Watford will try and rinse us and as he’s came from a relegated team people can write him off fast.

Hope people recall Gueye and McCarthy were good signings (before McCarthy turned to glass) and came from relegated sides.

City just signed Ake from a relegated side for 40mil. There’s good players everywhere. I’m just not sure Docoure is the best we could do. He’s fine. But I’d hope for better.

He seems a pure plaster signing, Sign him stick him in midfield let him do a decent job for 1-3 seasons until we get our wages/dead wood out the door and back on track to start making more low fee high reward signings or bigger talents when we have a bit more dosh to spend.
Feels like we can't have any more Kean signings where they're allowed time to get to grips with the league because the squad is so hollow so we get people like Doucoure and Arias who can stop the bleeding for a little.

I'd say that it's one of the reasons they went down.

I could imagine him doing well as the furthest forward in a midfield three, but there'll be massive gaps to plug if he's picked in a two.

Now that you mention him, I think I'd sooner take Capoue.

He has gone from being massively overrated and everyone raving about him and that we must sign him to being awful and the worst player ever in the space of a week or two.

Truth is somewhere in the middle. Decent player and maybe Ancelotti thinks he can get more out of him. We have one of the best managers to ever grace the game in charge of us, with any luck he has some kind of plan at least.
