Doucoure got dribbled two separate times in that run.

I don't get this crap. Doucoure played bad on his own. Davies didn't cause him to get shredded for their goal, lose Dendoncker for a narrow miss, play Yerry into pressure for no reason or to misplace passes. Doucoure did that himself and should get his own criticism for it.

By all means slate Tom, I disagree with it tonight, but people are just blatantly unfair on here.

Players get credit in the bank by good performances. This lad has got lots, especially recently. Tom, not so much. He’s massively into his overdraft in fact.

That might be as good as it gets but along with allan they have brought more fight this season.

My problem with Doucoure is you're right, he's not a DM, but the problem is he isn't really anything. He's not really a passing player either. He's not getting into dangerous final third positions often enough to be that kind of guy. He's not dribbling forward with it a lot either. He's just sort of fast and strong. I just don't think he brings very much most weeks.

Siggurdsson for me, I know it was the other end of the pitch, but he had an easy one two Digne and lost the ball with a sloppy pass. Abs they broke on us. Yes so maybe Davies should do better, but it was awful from siggurdsson, which was an easy return ball to Digne

Not his best game tonight, but still great running and energy bought to the team!

Huge huge huge improvement in the middle of the park from last season.

Up and down game from him today, getting suspended probably unfairly colours his game more unfavourably. Don’t even wanna imagine a game were we don’t have at least one of him or Allan playing. Even when not at their best they are miles above Gomes, Davies and Sigurdsson.

I think he has enough moments of quality to be part of a very good midfield.

I don't know you need both quality and quantity in midfield. I'm not sure on the quality but I think the quantity very much isn't there.

I think he was bought as a stop gap for 2yrs I can see him being moved on in 18/30 months when he will still only be 29 /30 and we should get some of our money back .

I think we were so desperate for energy, legs and power in the middle. And he was perfect, good age, prem experience, good price and gettable from a team that just went down. But we need that next level above in the summer

Bit of a worry if we do play Villa at the weekend with Doucoure suspended and Allan injured. They may well run straight through us, unless they've all still got the virus!

Can go back to the kick off on that basis. Never moved as a player strolled past him

This is obviously a highly subjective opinion but for me half of those things aren't worth spending money on which makes it not really a good price. I know people think it made sense but I didn't from the start and I don't feel hugely different right now except I do have to say at full strength he gives us just enough to be a complete team.
