Huge miss for us, absolutely gutted.

He's up there for my Everton player of the year, with what he gives us and the consistency he's delivered.

I've never been more glad of an effing stupid international break - hopefully he doesn't miss too many games.

Cant play without the guy anymore. Only one in midfield who effectively gets us up the pitch, even when he’s not playing all that well.

I personally think this is the biggest flaw in his game. He was invisible when we were trying to build from deep against Saints and West Brom. His only good runs came after the line had been broken by a long ball from CB, which isn't a bad thing on its own because you do need guys who can run from midfield like that, but if he's never the guy breaking or between the lines that is a problem given his position.

I just don't see him making a difference today.

If he's out for awhile Carlo really shouldn't do the whole square peg thing, just bring in Onyango a bit. Yes he's young but he should be serviceable in that position.

If we get Euro next season we have to buy another box to box cm as alternative when he’s out or for rotation. It’s like no one in the squad has the energy like him.

I agree but it is not just about missing games, it is who stands in? We are some what weakened in midfield, is Allan, James fit? So who is left Davies, Gomes?

It'll deffo be more, Carlo said he didn't know how long and will be in a position to say around the international break.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's out for the majority of the season now, very unfortunate.
