Since Ancelotti was appointed who knows what he does, certainly hasn't signed anybody in this window to fill any of the positions it's obvious we are short in. And I'd imagine Moshiri does the signing off.

Love Doucoure. Yes he does come with a few misplaced passes and dodgy first touches. But he more than makes up for that with everything else he offers us.

Theres no doubt that managers have an impact on the players Brands will sign.

Im sure Silva went to Brands with Doucs or maybe Brands already had his eye on him.

Regardless, any player we signed will have been looked over by Brands, he will have them scouted, he will speak to the clubs, the Agents and the player and get the deal done.

At the same time I'm sure Brands will also go to Carlo and say I fancy this player. Both managers who have worked under Brands have said the same thing, its a partnership, both have power of veto, if somebody signs its cos they both agreed on the player.

Silva signing, Carlo signing, Brands signing, its irrelevant to me, Brands is 100% responsible for every player we buy, loan or sell, hes not in sole charge, but the buck and the blame rests on his shoulders.
