Mr K.Dilkington
Player Valuation: £8m
Incapable of making a 5 yard pass, and he's supposed to be the service for our strikers through the middle, absolutely shocking.

He didn't look goosed at all he ran hard and was terrible as alwaysThankless job in a midfield pairing next to Slomes.
Looks goosed from having to play every single game for the past 2 seasons as half our other midfielders are made of glass (Gbamin/Delph/Slomes).
It’s unfair to single him out, none of our team can pass or run with the ball or have any game intelligence.
We went down to 10 men and just kept leathering it as far as we could, no one was capable of calming things down and keeping hold of the ball to take the pressure off.
Yeah I agree. I’ve seen better passing and control in an Under 10’s game.He was giving the ball away when it was 11 v 11.
Hey he is what he is. But for the love of god can we stop wasting money on players like this. Sick to death of seeing Everton players, midfielders esp, who cant do basic passing. Our midfield has absolutely zero guile composure or ability. Has to be one of if not worst in this division.
Let's be clear, he's a limited player and wasn't brought in to stroke the ball about and skin a player or two like a prime Arteta, he was brought in to be mobility and muscle in the middle. Expecting him to cover for anyone else is foolish. He has his game, he's being expected to plug gaps no other player in the history of the sport could manage. It isn't realistic. If he was a one man midfield he wouldn't be playing for us.
What's done for him is there not being a competent and mobile specialist defensive midfielder, so he's tracking back and hanging back more than he should, so he's an occasional out ball that doesn't work out in that he's seized on in possession and rushed into a nothing pass.
Instead of being more advanced and either running with the ball or moving it on very quickly whilst in space, hes often got his back to goal.
There is too much pressure in the middle of the pitch on our midfield because we don't have BOTH the mobility or the passing accuracy in any of them.
Put Delph's discipline, Iwobi's sudden stamina, Doucoure's power, Gomes' once in ten games passing, all into one player instead of spread over four and we'd suddenly have someone to build around, a Vieira type, let Allan be his Petit and start to get at and overcome the oppos.
Going toe-to-toe with what we have is why we keep getting battered. Lampard seemed to learn this lesson (a bit slowly) and alter things then changed straight back.
Cahill has more steel and heart for the battle now and he's been retired how long?
Shambles!
