I think Doucoure needs to have a good look at himself and also discuss his role with Lampard, He has all the attributes to be a driving powerful midfielder but he’s definitely been coming up short for to long now. I want to see him stay but massively improvement needed.

No doubt we need two starting midfielders this summer. If Doucoure and Allan stick around as rotation options that's fine, but this issue killed us again. I swear Doucoure had like two good games the whole season.

Yeah when he had Dele and Iwobi putting in a shift next to him instead of Gomes stinking the place out he was decent. He tried to do three players jobs first half imo and he was awful. He can’t perform in a two, we’ve known this for years!

I like doucs more than a lot of people on here. Him and James filled in a lot of gaps in each others play. He can be yhe legs but needs quality around him.

His technical ability is absolutely awful I agree. He’s decent at getting around the pitch, hassling the opposition, driving forward but his passing is absolutely abysmal for a premier league midfielder.
