We have this every season. There’s always a huge spate of long term injuries. When it happens season after season stretching over a decade then it is something wrong at the club.

There needs to be a complete root and branch review of everything at the club, Foot wear, pitches, training methods, nutrition, medical department. Everything.

Other teams in the league go whole seasons not carrying many injuries at all. I don’t know any other player who has broken a metatarsal for ages and we have two in the first few games of this season!

No point in having any optimism for the season because when a player gets injured, guaranteed it’s always long term. Why can’t our players just miss a game or two like other clubs?
