Stink or not,. he has been a major part of Dyches system and we bombed as soon as he was out. He is VITAL to our run in

I know we beat Arsenal, but thats looking more and more like new manager bounce rather than an actual game plan with every passing game.

This fella stinks, he's had a few decent games in the few years he's been at the club, but overall he's rubbish.

The way some of you act about him coming back makes me laugh.

He's not and has never made a difference to us, a terrible player in a squad of terrible, terrible players.

Sad thing is @Goat this could apply to any player in our squad.

I did chuckle listening to Dyche talk about Hodgson's new manager bounce lol slightly more impressive than his own.

I should probably stop posting for a bit, cos im a proper Doomer atm, but this club has beaten me.

I never felt like this, even through the 90s, but im just a shell atm, a man has a limit and I reached mine a long time ago.

We are so devoid of flare, pace and goals that we have to rely on press and work rate to get anything out of games. Onana, Coleman and Doucoure all offer this in one way or another. Coleman less so but, all have been missing and we could not replace them. I expect a very different performance from now on.

TBF I don't think people see him as the answer, more that him being there allows us to play a system that works better than what we've had for the last 3 games. Or that's what it looks like at least, but we'll have to see if that's really the case on Thursday

Newcastle have a really good physical midfield so having him back and hopefully Onana will be crucial

I think Doucoure is crap, but his press and energy has been sorely missed because we have no skill to replace it with

Everything broke down around him. He's useful when we have a players close by who can capitalise on any chaos he makes with 2nd balls but he was completely isolated tonight and utterly useless.

It's one of life's biggest puzzles.

Doucoure misses a few games and his return gives you hope. Then you see him try and control and pass a football and wonder how any team can be worse without him.
