I'm not a massive fan of Abdoulaye Doucouré, but I feel he is decent enough a player to extend his contract.

Not sure how accurate that is but it shows Mina, Doucoure and Iwobi as our top earners on 120k per week. Pickford in the group on 100k. Nice work if you can get it eh!

Ive no idea to be fair, assuming the worst case scenario is usually the best policy for guessing what we pay our frauds.

Either way, it’s a crazy decision to commit to before we know what our budget will even be next season - and he almost certainly won’t have a relegation clause in his contract.

He’s been effective under Dyche (barring the 3 match ban), buys us another year of not having to spend a transfer fee on an unknown replacement which will help the P&S numbers.
Plus should the worst happen at the weekend, he becomes a saleable asset - can’t see him wanting hang around the Championship at 31.
