Did loads of crap stuff but we look a better side with added physicality of him in that role. The striker benefits and so do the two behind him, it allowed Mangala to play a really important role.

He hasn't been playing 10 though much this season, he's started more as an 8 last two months which is an even worse crime and Dyche needs a dressing down himself for thinking he could do anything there.

Caused the side endless issues and surprise surprise hardly any goals as the 8 is supposed to be a progressive passer who can thread quality little balls through to the front players. The Hungary lad at the filth is the perfect example of that type or even Andre Gomes when he first came in.

Good job he was miles offside for that early chance as it was a woeful miss but meant play was brought back for the free kick.

Literally there just to close down space and not give opposition time and space to play out from back, he does that well for me. And if you can get the lad running onto a ball has a goal in him. It's not pretty and not what success (trophies) looks like.
