I’ve always found it intriguing how much influence the English had on European football, the majority of teams had English managers as their first, and we’ll Milan, Barca incorporate the St. George’s cross on their badges.

Genoa, are even named to incorporate an additional “C” as they’re Cricket & Football Club.

You’re spot on about Milan. In England we have a weird habit of including the city after, namely Sporting CP (Lisbon), Internazionale (Inter Milan), AZ (Alkmaar)… it’s quite common.
Yup.
Juve’s kit design was borrowed from Notts County

Yeah all that is mad. Athletic Bilbao kit is based on Southampton's colours because it was something to do with sailors from Southampton introducing them to football or something. Can't remember exactly the reason but it's something like that. In Spain the coach I think still often gets called "Mister" which dates back to the times when a lot of the coaches were English.

In Germany they do weird things with the names of English clubs too. We're called FC Everton. Arsenal is called Arsenal London.

Since the great Mathaus/Brehme/Klinsman team I've always had a soft spot for Inter, but despite spending vast sums on an incredible array of talent they always flattered to deceive until Mourinho took over. As a result, I'd say Milan is clearly the bigger team, as they dominated not just the Italian scene but they dominated world football at a time when Serie A was the dog's nuts. Inter has done well recently but Serie A is a pale shadow of its former self.

El Tractor though ?

Milan is the bigger club from my perspective bnecause of their stature in the late 80s and early 90s. It's probably an age thing though as others have said. Those growing up in the 60s or 2010s would probably say Inter

Milan had plans to build a new stadium beside the San Siro which should have been ready by now, However, it has been put on the long finger until at least after 2026 Winter Olympics as the Opening Ceremony will be in the San Siro.

Personally I can see no point in Milan doing this anyway.

The St. George's cross is absolutely 1000000000% unrelated to anything to do with England - England didn't invent the saint like lol

Milan - Coat of Arms of Milano.
Barca - St. George is a Catalan/Christian icon, nothing to do with England.
Genoa - while starting as an entirely British team, the coat of arms tells you exactly what the badge represents.

Basically a huge Christian figure - if anything, England is also borrowing from St. George, not St. George from England.

On topic: prefer Inter myself from those two, but neither are a favourite of mine for Italy.

The AC Milan fanclub in Bulgaria is great however! Met them at a few 5-a-side fan club tournaments, always great matches against them too :)

Well consider myself told regarding St. George.
