AC for me. More trophies and more mega stars.
Inter have had some unreal players but off the top of my head they aren’t competing with Maldini, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Pirlo, Van Basten, Shevchenko, Gullit, Nesta, Baresi, Inzaghi - probably forgot some too!

They did have a more lethal version of Brazilian Ronaldo though
Aren’t they? Ooh, how about Matthäus, Rummenigge, Klinsmann, Brady, Fachetti, Mazzola, Suarez, Altobelli, Bergomi, Zanetti, Brehme, Passarella…

Both among the greatest clubs on planet football.

Surely the question should be Milan or Juve?
One is the most successful domestically, the other is the second most successful team in Europe.

Inter are 3rd by a fair way

As a less telling off cuz I now feel bad - he's also a huge saint for us here in Bulgaria obviously, and one of the biggest days of celebration of the year is in his name as we celebrate namesdays and George (Georgi, Георги) is the 2nd most famous male name!

Don’t worry!

Hahaha every now and then people can be wrong! Myself included! My point still stands that there’s been a huge English influence, just not in the ways I thought

Milan have 8 Ballon D'or to Inters 2. Milan also took out the top 3 spots two years in a row.

But both have had dozens of genuine world class players, and both are among the greatest clubs in the world.

You could probably even make a world class 11 out of players that have played for both

Any players that have graced both us and AC Milan? Can think of a fair few for Inter Milan such as Lukaku, Eto’o, Dacourt, Van De Meyde, Materazzi, Pistone, Ferrari.
Always preferred Inter though mainly due to the Ronaldo, Recoba, Vieri era and of course the blue stripes helps ?
But would say AC are the bigger/more successful club.

Could be wrong here, but I think in Italy Juve and Inter are considered the biggest clubs. When they play each other it's called the Derby d'Italia which is basically considered their Clasico

It’s sad how poor AC Milan have been pretty much since Ancelotti left and that team of Pirlo Kaka Gattuso Shevchenko disbanded.

They’ve had a few teams since of Brazilian stars at the end of their careers, mixed with Zlatan rolling back the years, but they’ve had pretty much 15 years of just not being a major player in Europe.
I've got as much sympathy for Milan as I have for the RS and their poor season.

Milan were the greatest club in the world from 1989 to 1995. That was a purple patch, a golden era. Inter have never matched that - but then again only a handful of clubs (Real Madrid, Ajax, Bayern, Liverpool, and Barcelona) ever have. Even Juventus - the most successful Italian club bar none - haven't, and nobody would really argue that Milan are bigger than Juventus. Thing is, when you are the size of Milan or Inter, that question is pretty redundant. It's like asking which of Real Madrid or Barcelona is bigger? I mean, Real are the greatest club on the planet - but does it actually mean anything in a head to head with a club the size of Barcelona?

In Italy, it is Juventus versus Inter that is the Derby of Italy. Juve, Inter, Milan...all pretty interchangeable.

Regarding Ballon d'Ors, Milan have had more wins by players in their shirts - but both have also had Ballon d'Or winners in their shirts who had already won that title at other clubs. So it's not the perfect metric for saying which club had more great players. I mean, Rummenigge won as many Ballons d'Or as Gullit and Kaka combined - but at Bayern. There is no doubt that since the late 1980s, Milan have been the more successful club: 9 Series A and 5 European Cups. Inter have 7 and 1, by comparison.

But both are mega clubs.

Inter from 62-67 you'd have to say were at least not far off that

They were like Benfica. Huge in that time - but like Benfica, never replicated it in a more modern mass media era. They were dominant just before colour TV, so suffer, somewhat unfairly, in the modern consciousness.

When Mourinho took them to the CL title in 2010, that team was already in the veteran stage and Mourinho had set his sights on more glamorous pursuits, so they couldn't make hay then either.
